Survivor's Stories - Mourning to Movement w/ Dannielle Brown

Dannielle Brown lived a mother's worst nightmare, surviving her son. While mourning her loss, Dannielle also found herself fighting the negative narrative of who her SonShine Marquis was. Determined to honor his legacy, Dannielle took to the campus of Duquesne University for answers. When she was turned away answerless, she did not whither away and go home. Instead, Dannielle set up camp at the University's square and embarked on a 237-day hunger strike. Commemorating the part of her that died with Marquis, Dannielle hosted her living funeral to demonstrate to the world what burying a child feels like.

Tune in to hear Dannielle's Survivor Story and how her hunger for the truth and the burying of the hope that lived in Marquis, has led to her ability to live authentically and fully.
