Has your son ever been suspended or expelled from pre-school? We want to know about your experience.

Did you know that although they only represent 18% of U.S. pre-school populations, Black students make up nearly half of all out-of-school suspensions? THIS is the beginning of the school-to-prison pipeline.

Moms of Black Boys United has partnered with the Metropolitan University of Denver to learn more about the effects of suspension or expulsion in early childhood education and we need your help. As you all may know, the earlier we get to know our boys' potential struggles in school, the better their chances are for success. Prisons are being built for our boys before they complete elementary school. It's up to us to make sure our sons do not go down the prison pipeline.

As we work to eradicate the trajectory of this phenomenon, it’s important to take a look at the earliest experiences in the education system. The more we know, the more we can influence change.
