Atlanta, MLK Day of Service Event

Bring your family and join us on the Sunday afternoon before Martin Luther King, Jr Day to serve with other families at Amana Academy. Invite your neighbors & friends, too! Together, our goal is to make 300 sandwiches for the homeless being served by several area Atlanta non-profit service providers to the homeless community.

1. Minimum Suggestions (you are welcome to bring and make more!)  - For each volunteer in attendance (children volunteers, too) - please plan to bring a loaf of bread (will make 13 sandwiches), 13 slices of cheese, and 26 slices of turkey deli meat for each volunteer, plastic table cloth to make the sandwiches on and gloves if you wish.  *Example:  If you are a family of 3 - bring 3 loaves of bread, 39 slices of cheese, 78 slices of turkey.  Also, please bring ziplock sandwich baggies to place your finished sandwiches in. 

 You should consider purchasing a 'We Serve' shirt or hoodie in celebration of the volunteer work that our sun shines do, ALL THE TIME.

NOTE - Shirts take up to 5-7 days to arrive from purchase to order submission.
